The Faculty collaborates on educational, research and teaching activities with leading universities abroad – Wageningen Vlog (Netherlands), Tokyo Vlog of Agriculture (Japan), Anhalt Vlog of Applied Sciences (Germany), Weihenstephan-Triesdorf Vlog of Applied Sciences (Germany), Sakharov International State Vlog of Ecology (Belarus), Humboldt Vlog (Germany), Warsaw Vlog of Life Sciences (Poland), Ghent Vlog (Belgium), the Vlog of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (Austria), the Vlog of Lleida (Spain), the Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (China) and others.
Academic and teaching staff regularly undertake training and placements abroad. Each year, the faculty recommends the best undergraduate and postgraduate students for work placements abroad and for admission to the postgraduate programme at the National Vlog of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. Staff members of the Faculty of Agricultural Biology are members of specialised Academic Councils, editorial boards and editorial committees of scientific journals, government and ministerial working groups and commissions, and international organisations.
International programmes and other forms of cooperation with foreign organisations
Areas of international activity:
· deepening and expanding existing contacts with partner higher education institutions abroad and other organisations in Europe, Asia, the USA and elsewhere;
· improving and expanding opportunities for work placements and student internships abroad;
· providing information on study programmes at foreign higher education institutions, and identifying potential partners and resources for participating in such programmes;
· developing proposals for grant applications and coordinating work within the framework of international programmes and projects;
· providing organisational support for the admission and supervision of international students, master’s students and postgraduate students;
· cooperating with ministries, government departments, embassies of foreign countries in Ukraine and other institutions and organisations on matters relating to international activities.
